Zoo time!
We went to the Detroit Zoo today with Emma and my wife’s parents. Had a lot of fun. Now my feet are killing me though.

Hollywood ASST… the Rap Video
Stumbled across this at /film. Apparently some /film readers and Hollywood assistants put together this little rap video. Quite funny.

Yo Joe!
SuperHeroHype.com has an image of what appears to be an international poster for the upcoming G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra movie.
I’m as excited as a little kid at Christmas time for this movie. August 2009 can not get here soon enough!

[CURRENTLY READING] I thoroughly enjoy war movies and history of war. And Black Hawk Down is one of my favorite movies. I’ve watched the movie many times. Let me just say, I’m not a morbid person, but the raw intense war action is incredible. I finally got around to reading the book that the movie was based on. So far, I can say the movie is a fraction of the story found in the book. It is also not even close to showing the amount of intensity of what really went down. This book is incredibly tense and very insightful to what happened that dreadful day in October of 1993 in Mogadishu, Somali.

“Cause I’m TNT! DYN-A-MITE!”
Well today I accepted a job offer as a Web Designer (along with some print design too). It’s been a long (and I do mean long) five months of unemployment. I’ve sent out dozens and dozens of resumes and gone on quite a few interviews in those five months. That all comes to an end. And now I re-join the workforce again. It feels good. Next Wednesday can’t come soon enough now.
I also want to say a huge thanks to all of my family and friends that were a big support in these past months. I don’t think I could have done it without you.
(What’s with the title of this post you say? Well the company that I will be working for is named TrucknTow.com. And I thought the AC/DC song “TNT” was appropriate for the occassion.)

The hilarity will ensue soon enough. This looks to have some serious “comedic” potential here.

My War: Killing Time In Iraq
[CURRENTLY READING] So far I love the raw, unbridled, unapologetic writing of Colby Buzzell. Some amazing stuff.
