Mike Wieringo, 1963–2007
I’m kind of speechless on this one. I just read that Mike Wieringo, comic industry veteran and all around great guy, has passed away of heart attack at the young age of 44. I’d spoken to Mike a couple times at cons and he was always a really nice guy. He will be greatly missed.

Unlikely Heroes.
Well this was in a recent issue of Entertainment Weekly (Issue #946, p. 73; August 3, 2007). My friend Jason Howard received some “props” (along with writer Robert Kirkman) on his latest project The Astounding Wolf-man.
